For insider on RS4 fast ring (Active deployment of Windows) who is being upgrade to 17604 accidentally by MS. You will found that you cannot upgrade to another RS5 build since the Skip Ahead channel is closed.
There are workaround for you to continuous the RS5 upgrade:
It is a workaround for who being mis-deploy to 17604 and still stay at “Active deployment of Windows”
Since the Skip Ahead is closed now, you need to follow the following instrcution to make you able to download Skip Ahead build to 17618
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost\UI\Selection
Double-click the UIContentType string and change its value to Skip
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost\Applicability
Double click the ContentType string and change its value to Skip.
Since my UIRing already WIP, I did not need to make change
Remark: You might need to reboot your machine to make it effective (In my case, I did not reboot)
After the above change, you will able to download and upgrade:
